We’re recruiting an Engineering Team Lead to play a key leadership role within a high-performing manufacturing and food processing environment. Reporting directly to the Engineering Shift Manager, you’ll lead a team of mechanical, electrical and multi-skilled engineers, ensuring plant reliability, safety and performance.

• Lead and support mechanical, electrical and multi-skilled engineers on shift
• Deputise for the Engineering Shift Manager when required
• Prioritise and allocate engineering work to maintain production efficiency
• Drive preventative maintenance using CMMS / SAP PPM systems
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and permit-to-work systems
• Support training and development of engineers and semi-skilled staff
• Work with contractors and visiting engineers on improvements and upgrades
• Maintain engineering documentation and records
• Promote 5S standards and environmental compliance

• Time-served fitter with minimum 4 years industrial experience
• Strong mechanical or electrical background
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Excellent fault-finding and decision-making ability
• IT literate with CMMS / SAP experience advantageous
• Organised, proactive and safety-focused

• Food manufacturing or poultry processing experience
• Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
