Junior Customs Administrator – Contract Logistics, Slough

Our client, a well‑established Heathrow freight forwarding agent, is looking for a Junior Customs Administrator to join their Slough Contract Logistics Centre. The successful candidate will have strong communication/customer service skills, IT aptitude (Word and Excel), excellent written and verbal English, a 5‑year steady employment/education record, and a clear DBS check.

• Work with the team to get shipments moving.
• Enter and sort data in Excel ensuring KPI visibility.
• Prepare for customs entries.
• Bulk upload document entries.
• Submit export customs entries to customs using the customs system.
• Submit import entries to the customs system.
• Create T1s.
• Liaise and communicate with external and internal customers.
• Ensure all information is entered into the system and communicated to relevant personnel.

• Experience working with or in the logistics sector (desirable but not essential).
• Excel knowledge (advanced desirable but training will be provided).
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).
