Vehicle Damage Assessor

kolt recruitment are looking for a vehicle damage assessor (vda) to join a well-established accident repair centre in slough. this is a full-time, permanent position within a busy and professional bodyshop, offering long-term stability and consistent work.

key responsibilities

* carrying out accurate vehicle damage assessments and inspections

* producing repair estimates in line with manufacturer and insurer standards

* liaising with insurers, engineers and the workshop team

* authorising repair methods and parts required for each job

* monitoring repair progress and controlling costs

* ensuring repairs meet quality and safety standards

requirements

* previous experience as a vda or estimator within an accident repair centre or bodyshop

* strong knowledge of estimating systems and repair methods

* good understanding of insurance processes and procedures

* strong attention to detail and organisational skills

* ability to work independently and as part of a team
