As we establish our UK retail operations, we are committed to delivering a seamless, high-quality ownership experience that reflects the innovation and reliability of the AION brand. To support this journey, we are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Aftersales Manager to lead our retail aftersales function and ensure customers receive exceptional support throughout the lifetime of their vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the aftersales function within the retail structure, including service, repair, parts, warranty, and customer support operations for AION Auto UK.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring high standards of service quality, timely communication, and efficient resolution of customer issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain aftersales processes aligned with AION brand standards and Joint Venture operational frameworks.
- Oversee workshop operations, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality control, and technician competency.
- Manage parts operations, including forecasting, stock control, pricing, supplier coordination, and logistics.
- Ensure warranty processes are adhered to, including compliance with OEM guidelines and accurate claim submissions.
- Track and report aftersales KPIs, utilising insights to optimise performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Retail Operations, Technical, and Customer Experience teams to create a seamless ownership journey.
- Support the launch of new models by preparing aftersales infrastructure, tooling, training, and processes.
- Ensure all operations comply with UK regulatory standards, health and safety requirements, and AION/Jameel Motors policies.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or Senior Aftersales Leader within an automotive retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of workshop operations, customer service, parts management, and warranty administration.
- Experience with in the EV sector or new-energy vehicle brands is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to build new processes and structures, ideally within a growing or newly established retail operation.
- Commercial awareness with a strong understanding of aftersales profitability, budgeting, and KPI optimisation.
- Proficient in dealership management systems, CRM platforms, and modern aftersales reporting tools.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance strategic oversight and hands‑on operational management.
