The opportunity

This is a 12‑month Sales Analyst role created to support a lean and fast‑moving sales team during a period of change. The purpose is to bring in graduate talent early, provide real exposure to how sales functions day to day, and build strong commercial foundations from the ground up.

You will sit close to live accounts, forecasts, pricing activity, and internal sales processes. Rather than operating in isolation, you will work alongside account managers and senior stakeholders, gaining visibility of how plans are built, tracked, and delivered in a complex, matrix environment.

The role is designed for someone who thrives in pace, is comfortable with ambiguity, and understands that strong commercial capability is built through detail, discipline, and accountability.

The role

Day to day, you will support the sales team with core analytical and administrative processes that keep the function running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting sales forecasting through data input, tracking, and sense‑checking
  • Maintaining price files, customer data, and internal reporting trackers
  • Preparing and submitting nominations and other internal documentation
  • Assisting with monthly performance tracking and sales reviews
  • Working closely with account managers to understand customer plans and performance
  • Shadowing senior team members on account activity and internal meetings as part of your development
  • Taking on additional ownership over time as confidence and capability grow

Accuracy, organisation, and follow‑through are critical. This role gives visibility and responsibility early, with scope to broaden exposure as you develop.

What you’ll bring

  • A completed UK degree in any discipline
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with numerical data
  • Willingness to start in a process‑heavy, detail‑driven role to build commercial understanding
  • Clear interest in a career in sales, commercial analysis, or account management
  • Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, and take accountability for delivery
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and reliability
  • Any experience in sales support, analysis, retail, FMCG, or customer‑facing environments
  • Exposure to forecasting, reporting, or data handling
  • Familiarity with CRM or internal systems (training will be provided)

Working environment and development

You will work in a hybrid model, typically attending the Slough office 1–2 days per week. The team is collaborative, young, and hands‑on, offering day‑to‑day exposure and learning rather than formal classroom‑style training. Over the 12 months, the focus is on building practical commercial judgement, confidence, and readiness for broader sales roles.
