Overview
Robert Walpole and Partners (RWP), a renowned UK-based engineering consultancy based in Slough, is seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in the UK water industry to join our exceptional team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects, shape infrastructure development, and uphold our commitment to engineering excellence.
Projects- Infrastructure:
Trunk mains, distribution mains, and strategic connections. - Non-Infrastructure:
Production site civils and structural alterations.
- Support and manage projects from initiation to completion.
- Provide technical expertise to project teams.
- Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
- Collaborate with clients to understand objectives and deliver tailored solutions.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of engineering designs.
- Review project deliverables to maintain the highest standards.
- Stay informed about industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to innovative engineering solutions and sustainable practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven record of successful project contributions.
- Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE) is desirable.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and advanced structural analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and engineering excellence.
