Control Panel Design Engineer

A leading designer and manufacturer of control panels for the HVAC / BMS industry has an immediate requirement for a Control Panel Design Project Engineer with Eplan experience to join their team at their offices in Slough.

Essential Key

Skills:

Control Panel Design Experience

Eplan – essential

Control Systems – ability to design motor control centres and control panels (Form 2 – Form
4) to IEC
61439-1 standards

HVAC / PLC Controls

Electrical knowledge of 400V systems, including 3-phase motors, 1-phase motors, and motor starting techniques such as DOL, ASD, and Frequency Inverter control

Salary: Circa £55,000 – £60,000 plus benefits and a car allowance

Location: Slough SL1 6JT
– possible relocation package available

As a Control Panel Design Project Engineer, you will work with clients to design and project manage control panels for the HVAC/BMS industry. You will also manage a small team and be a key member of the management team.

Key Skills Requirements:

Proficiency in using EPlan P8 with Pro Panel & Process wire modules for control panel drawing

Electrical knowledge of 400V systems, including motors and starting techniques

Ability to design motor control centres and control panels according to IEC standards

Effective communication skills are essential for working with colleagues and clients.
