Project Land Surveyor – Expanded / Laing O’Rourke

We are recruiting a Project Land Surveyor to support our national portfolio. This role covers London, Sussex and West locations.

Required UK driving licence. Sponsorship not offered. Our benefits include a company car scheme (or allowance) and a Daily Travel / Mobility Allowance.

• Conduct land/topographic and engineering surveys using specialist equipment and technology such as robotics and 3D scanners.
• Set out survey points.
• Analyse survey data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit/Navisworks.
• Prepare survey drawings.
• Quantify earthworks.
• Liaise with the site Project Manager and Engineering team.
• Liaise with the LOR Digital Engineering team.
  
  Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Geomatics/Engineering Surveying or relevant technical qualification (NVQ/TSA).
  • Proficiency with Leica equipment and 3DR software.
  • Experience extracting data from point clouds and CAD drafting.
  • Membership of CICES (desired but not mandatory).
  • Experience using Starnet.
  • Drone licence would be beneficial.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence with new technology.
