Estimator, Engineering, Quantity Surveyor

Circet UK is looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join our team.

• Cost Analysis: review and analyse project plans and client requirements to calculate the costs of labour, plant, materials and project overheads.
• Cost Modeling: apply cost modeling techniques to consider the impact of factors such as inflation, exchange rates, and risk on the overall commercial offering.
• Data Gathering: research costs, obtain quotes from suppliers, and analyse data to inform estimates and commence the procurement process.
• Proposal Development: contribute to proposal development by providing cost estimates and budget information.
• Cost Tracking and Monitoring: work with Commercial colleagues to review actual costs during the project lifecycle to ensure that projects stay within budget and provide insight into future bids.
• Risk Assessment: assess potential risks to the project scope, cost, and schedule.

• 2+ years of experience estimating within the telecoms, utilities, or construction industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of planning and construction/telecoms activities and contracts.
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
• Excellent communicator with a sharp eye for detail and commercial insight.
