Consumer Insights Manager

In this position you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights derived from customer interactions, helping us understand and anticipate the needs of LEGO® enthusiasts worldwide. Your expertise will guide our teams in creating meaningful connections with our consumers, ensuring that every LEGO® experience is as fabulous and innovative as our products.
Responsibilities
The Consumer Insights Manager supports Consumer & Shopper Engagement (CSE) and Consumer Insights objectives by bringing the voice of the consumer to CSE, DCE (Direct-to-Consumer Experience) and the wider LEGO® group. Insights and analysis provide the foundation for data‑based decision making with the consumer at its heart. This role drives projects and reporting from conception to delivery, working with partners to understand business needs and objectives, and collaborating with analysts to develop insight projects and reporting that excel in delivery.
- Support the realization of team and departmental strategic objectives, assessing information needs and transforming them into deliverables.
- Effectively communicate, crafting insights into compelling reporting that challenges existing views and pushes forward change.
- Coordinate the annual planning process, crafting project roadmaps and supervising progress against objectives.
- Maintain and lead team process ownership, ensuring it remains up‑to‑date and complete.
The Consumer Insights team plays a meaningful role in putting the voice of the consumer at the heart of everything the LEGO Group does. We craft insights from millions of consumer engagements received globally each year, distilling them into takeaways that help the business understand our consumers and ensure they are at the centers of our actions. The team is experienced, diverse and based in Slough near Windsor.

It is highly desirable that the right candidate have hands‑on experience in consumer insight projects and teams, navigating and connecting multiple data sources to produce insights that drive data‑based decision making. Experience translating the strategic and operational objectives of CSE and external partners into analysis focus, prioritising and defining business questions to produce outstanding results is essential.
Qualifications & Experience- Several years’ experience leading insights creation projects involving consumer needs and preferences, as well as operational performance.
- Experience working in a large matrix organisation, strategically assessing business needs and data sources to build a bigger picture and deliver improvement opportunities.
- Strong experience in partner engagement and project management.
- Outstanding communication skills, delivering reports and presentations that inspire change.
- Experience crafting insights that use social listening and community data is a plus.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word for insights reporting and presentation.
