Practice Nurse - GP Surgery

Part time experienced practice nurse to join our nursing team working from a purpose built building

Essential to have experience working within a GP surgery within the past 2 years

Essential to have experience and keen interest in supporting and managing patients with a long term condition - asthma & diabetes

• Child Immunisations
• Womens Health including cervical screening
• Experience in long term conditions - Asthma / Diabetic Care

Threeways Surgery is a semi-rural practice looking after approximately 6,400 patients. We focus on a multi disciplinary team approach to patient care. Training and personal development is encouraged

Administers adult and child immunisations and vaccinations in accordance with national and local programmes. Is competent in anaphylaxis and resuscitation techniques. Ensures safe storage, rotation and disposal of vaccines and drugs and adequate stock levels are maintained.

Offers comprehensive travel health advice for patients prior to travel

Womens Health & Cervical Screening - offer advice and reassurance to patients and encourage uptake

• RGN status minimum of 2 years qualified
• Long Term Condition Management
• Diabetic Care
• Asthma Care
• COPD Care

• Experience of working in a GP practice minimum of 12 months
• Travel Immunisations
• Child Immunisations
• Woman's Health
