As a valued member of our Supplier Quality Assurance Team, you’ll proactively ensure our suppliers meet the highest Mars standards—so only the very best ingredients reach our sites. Working closely with the broader commercial team, you’ll develop and manage our dairy suppliers, supporting our growth ambitions and commercial targets. Your technical expertise and ability to build strong partnerships will be key to driving continuous improvement!
What are your key responsibilities?Assessing & Improving:You’ll assess and confirm that our dairy suppliers meet Mars standards through risk assessments, audits, and analytical data reviews.
Building Partnerships:You’ll represent Mars in managing suppliers and building strong technical collaborations to achieve quality performance and program goals.
Resolving & Preventing Issues:You’ll address raw material non-conformances with thorough root cause analysis, and work with suppliers to define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Innovating & Developing:You’ll support the technical development of our supplier base, preparing us for future innovation and growth.
Leading & Connecting:You’ll lead key regional quality projects, collaborating closely with colleagues in R&D and Supply.
Passion for Quality & Food Safety:You’re energized by delivering top-quality, safe products.
Collaboration & Project Management:You’re a true team player and know how to lead projects to success.
Experience:You have at least 4 years’ experience in dairy or raw material production environments, and a minimum of 2 years’ auditing experience.
Certification:You’re a certified Lead Auditor (BRC or equivalent).
Technical Leadership:You have experience facilitating and leading technical projects with suppliers.

Skills:
You use your scientific knowledge to tackle challenges head-on.Quality Management Expertise:You’re familiar with tools and techniques like QMP, GMP, SPC, LEAN, and HACCP.
Flexibility & Willingness to Travel: You can expect to travel approximately 12 times per year to countries such as France, Germany, and Belgium for supplier audits.
