Immigration Support Worker

Position: Immigration Support Worker (Contract)
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Immigration Support Worker for a Local Authority Client in Berkshire.

In this role, you will support people experiencing rough sleeping with immigration challenges to access legal advice, housing options, and the fastest route off the streets.

Duties:

Provide immigration-related support and guidance to people experiencing rough sleeping, including those with no recourse to public funds
Engage individuals through street outreach and build trust to connect them with support services
Develop and manage personalised support plans, maintaining accurate and confidential records
Support access to housing, reconnection options, and specialist services through partnership working

Qualifications and

Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Experience working with people experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, or multiple disadvantage
Experience supporting migrants or individuals with complex immigration-related needs
Experience in outreach work and engaging people in challenging or street-based settings
Experience working in partnership with external agencies and support services

What's on offer:

Salary: £32ph

* may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
* Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
