Are you an expert in project governance with a passion for driving excellence? Do you enjoy coaching others to reach their full potential while keeping a bird's‑eye view of strategic goals? Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you will oversee the entire business transformation portfolio, establish governance standards, provide reporting and coaching, and cultivate a high‑performing PMO team.
Responsibilities- Establish and enforce robust project and programme governance standards, including approval stage gates and delivery methodologies.
- Lead strategic oversight of the Transformation portfolio to ensure alignment with organisational strategy.
- Develop and deliver portfolio-level reports and dashboards, providing senior management with transparency on key metrics.
- Serve as the central contact for stakeholders, resolving escalated issues to maintain project momentum.
- Provide guidance, coaching and training to Project and Programme managers, fostering a culture of consistent execution.
- Drive continuous improvement of all PMO processes and standards.
- Lead a high-performing team of Project and Programme professionals, supporting autonomy and delivery.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.
- Champion knowledge sharing and skill development across the organisation.
- PMP or equivalent professional project management certification, plus PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Experience defining and enforcing project governance.
- Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder communication skills.
- Expertise in portfolio-level reporting and data analysis.
- Advanced skills with PPM tools and governance frameworks.
- Track record of leading and managing a PMO, developing processes and standards.
- Ability to link project delivery to organisational strategy and business outcomes.
- Hands‑on experience managing complex projects and coaching teams.
- Experience managing relationships with senior management, suppliers and external partners.
