Are you an experienced Civils and Contracts Supervisor ready to lead from the front? We’re looking for a proactive, safety-first professional to oversee civil engineering projects and resurfacing projects contract delivery — ensuring every job runs smoothly, safely, and profitably.
The RoleYou’ll manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources to deliver high-quality infrastructure works. From planning and supervision to client liaison and cost control, you’ll be the driving force behind operational success and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead site operations with a focus on HSQE compliance
- Supervise civils works to spec and industry standards
- Manage contract delivery, cost/value reporting, and testing
- Allocate resources efficiently and reduce delays
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and local authorities
- Oversee team performance, training, and development
- Drive continuous improvement and reduce waste/remedials
- CSCS & SMSTS (NEBOSH/HNC desirable)
- Proven experience in Highways Surfacing, civils supervision and contract management
- Strong knowledge of contracting methods and site operations
- Confident communicator and team leader
- Problem‑solver with a drive for improvement
- IT Data Management (highly desirable)
- Pavers Machine Control experience (highly desirable)
