• Lead and manage all yard fabrication activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
• Develop and implement fabrication schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor a team of supervisors, foremen, and technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and performance.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of fabrication with overall project execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of fabrication processes, materials, and workmanship to maintain compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage procurement and inventory of fabrication materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Resolve technical issues and production bottlenecks promptly, minimizing delays and rework.
• Prepare and present performance reports, KPIs, and operational updates to senior management on a regular basis.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CFA, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in yard fabrication or industrial fabrication management within heavy engineering, oil & gas, power, or industrial infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale fabrication projects, with demonstrated success in meeting deadlines, controlling costs, and maintaining high‑quality standards.
• In‑depth knowledge of welding standards (ASME, AWS, ISO), material specifications, and fabrication processes (cutting, forming, assembly, NDT).
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in developing and leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and decision‑making skills under pressure.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6), ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment with frequent on‑site presence at the Hazira facility.
• Ability to travel as required and work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, to meet project demands.
