About

The Role

We have a new vacancy for a Senior Executive Assistant. This post will primarily support our CEO as a strategic Executive Assistant. It will also support other directors with diary management and coordination. We also have 3 Group Business Administrators supporting our Group Directors, the post will also have involvement with this team.

Aim of the role

You will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and facilitating strategic focus.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Project & Operational Support

  • Manage and monitor the progress of projects, ensuring deadlines are met and addressing issues that arise
  • Assist in tracking progress on strategic initiatives
  • Conduct research and compile data to support decision‑making
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation for compliance and reporting
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, and reports for board meetings and senior leadership sessions

Business Partnering

  • Represent the Executive/s at meetings
  • Advocacy and providing input into thought leadership
  • Contribute to commercial understanding of budgets and forecast

Executive Support

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Support CEO access and prioritisation of access and attention
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Be available outside of standard office hours where required
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders
  • Draft and review correspondence, ensuring accuracy and tone align with company standards
  • Coordinate communication across departments to ensure timely delivery of information

Event & Meeting Coordination

  • Plan and noterise executive‑level meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Ensure all logistics are managed effectively, including venue, catering, and materials.
  • Participate in events outside of standard office hours
About You
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting senior leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
  • Professional, approachable, and adaptable
  • High level of integrity and discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and manage complex schedules
  • Project tracking and support
  • Financial acumen, working with budget and forecast information
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive mindset
  • Knowledge of the house building or construction industry is desirable but not essential
