Contract Business Analyst - Infrastructure Focus
£500 to £600 per day Outside IR35
Solihull / Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite
Duration – 6 months

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is experienced with complex, enterprise-level, Infrastructure / Connectivity Projects. Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is seeking a contractor with infrastructure projects experience to provide Business Analysis on a range of initiatives to refresh and modernize network architecture, including SD-WAN and LAN upgrades.
The successful contract Business Analyst will play a key role in building a future-proof infrastructure that enables secure, reliable, and fast technology adoption for innovative business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with non-technical users to gather and translate requirements
Translate business needs into user stories and clear technical specifications
Conduct as-is/to-be analysis using Visio and support change impact assessments
Coordinate Compliance with IT Governance
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing
Evaluate and implement satellite connectivity solutions (e.g., Starlink) to improve site connectivity.

Skills & Experience Required:

Business Analysis experience within Infrastructure / Network / Connectivity projects
Understanding of business process reengineering and business modelling concepts
Requirement gathering from all levels of users, especially non-technical users
Experience working in large, enterprise environments
Good technical knowledge of Foundation IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure concepts, Business Applications, Middleware integrations.
Proficiency in Visio or similar tools
Strong stakeholder management Desirable:

Business Analysis of large-scale infrastructure projects, including SD-WAN and LAN deployments across multiple sites
Understanding of satellite connectivity technologies and their application in remote environments
