Location: Portbury
This role will manage all aspects of the UK indirect procurement process (consumable stocks and other categories of service and supply as required) including purchasing, order management, sourcing, tendering, contract implementation, administration, and management, and supplier relationship management, as required. It will also support purchasing activities across all A‑Gas Europe businesses as required.
Essential- Educated to GCSE level including English and Maths
- Proven experience in purchasing administration
- Computer literate able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Taking the initiative at every opportunity
- Strong problem solver
- Previous experience in a Buyer role in a production environment
- Attained or working towards CIPS qualification level 4
- Experience of ERP systems
- Second language (German, Dutch, Italian)
