The Executive – Tax is responsible for slightly complex tax matters and all related activities. Working closely with the Manager, they will handle routine operational Tax matters directly with clients in a way that always enhances the level of service delivered. They will make process improvement recommendations that improve either quality, efficiency or levels of client service.
Tasks- Perform all routine Tax Activities
- Responsible for maintaining the status of all work in the planning system, reporting to the Manager in the event that the plan cannot be executed as scheduled
- Responsible for ensuring that work that is submitted to clients contains no defects
- Make recommendations about how to improve work in both quality and efficiency as well as client relationship and contacts
- Responsible for tracking progress of his/her PDP (personal development plan)
- Train more junior colleagues on the job and, upon instruction of the Manager, review certain assignments conducted by junior team members
- Flag client issues before they become a complaint
- Ensure protections of information assets of the organisation and abide by the ISMS in place
- Degree holder or partly qualified ACCA/ACA
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax
- Sound knowledge of Tax Legislations
- Knowledge of Global Business Sector
