Location:
Radcliffe Salary: £50,000–£65,000 per annum Contract Type: 6-month FTC to start asap About the Role We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our UK Senior Management Team. Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, you will lead and manage financial accounting, reporting, and control activities for UK business entities, as well as oversee the Accounts Payable function.
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the UK Finance team (currently 3 members) to ensure high performance. Manage all finance and accounting processes, delivering accurate reporting to strict deadlines. Own balance sheet reconciliations and provide final sign-off. Deliver fully integrated P&L for review by the Finance Director. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and external reporting requirements. Oversee annual audits and ensure timely provision of information.
Manage VAT reporting (including partial exemption and reverse charge mechanisms) and understand transfer pricing for intercompany sales. Support Group Finance Operations and Corporate Governance requirements. Partner with FP&A to improve budgeting and forecasting quality. Validate and approve monthly payroll promptly. Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions. Deliver weekly and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting. Act as a commercial business partner to the MD and other senior stakeholders.

Experience:
Available immediately with full right to work in the UK ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified preferred or qualified by experience Proven UK experience in a similar orle Proven experience implementing accounting controls and reporting within a group environment. Strong knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS. Understanding of UK Tax, VAT, and legal requirements. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
