Position: PMO - 6 month day rate contract
A leading global investment bank is seeking an immediately available PMO to join their London team on an initial 6 month contract.

This role offers a unique opportunity to support strategic transformation across the organisation's operations portfolio, contributing to the delivery of complex, multi-stream programmes that shape the future of financial services Seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic PMO to join a high performing project managers in a dynamic, fast-paced operations change business. Initially 6 months with a view to roll permanent thereafter this is a great opportunity to join an excellent team to support a varied portfolio of global operations projects

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain project documentation (plans, charters, RAID logs, stakeholder maps). Support governance, reporting, and delivery assurance across the operations portfolio. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trade lifecycle, payments, and regulatory initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and governance forums. Track risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits realisation across projects. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Contribute to optimisation strategies by promoting best practices in tooling adoption (e.g., Clarity, Planview).

What You Bring:

3 years' experience in PMO or project governance roles within financial services. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Experience supporting trade lifecycle or payments-related projects in investment banking. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Clarity, Planview, JIRA). Strong attention to detail with expertise in RAID management and reporting. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience. Degree-level education; certifications such as Prince2 Foundation or Agile
