Overview
Community Nurse – full-time locum role in Portishead. Initially for a minimum of 2 weeks and due to commence as soon as possible.
Key competencies / Responsibilities- Wound care including pressure ulcers
- Venepuncture
- Obtain samples
- Catheterisation (female would be helpful if also competent in male and suprapubic)
- Bandaging
- Holistic assessment
- Administration of IV's
- Compression bandaging
- Dopplar assessments
- Palliative care
- Must be an NMC registered Nurse with up-to-date certificates of competencies for the listed skills.
- Enhanced DBS certificate issued within 1 year with up-to-date Mandatory training in BLS, Safeguarding, First Aid, Information Governance and Infection Control.
