Global Operations Intern; Winter

Position: Global Operations Intern (Winter/Spring 2027)
Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work directly with current and potential suppliers to maintain material supply.
• Support supply chain risk assessments and contingency planning.
• Develop strategies to optimize suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience.
• Conduct market analysis to provide sourcing insights.
• Manage purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications.
• Participate in supplier sourcing, qualification, and negotiation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and manufacturers to ensure timely development and transition to mass production.

About You

• Have a technical or engineering background.
• Are excited to source and evaluate suppliers for quality, reliability, cost, and capacity.
• Can communicate effectively with various teams both in-person and remotely.
• Are organized and able to manage multiple projects and document progress.
• Have leadership experience and exposure to project management.
• Are eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Bonus skills include manufacturing and procurement experience, advanced Microsoft Excel use, product development experience, familiarity with quality control, and knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as injection molding, machining, and sheet metal processes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Bi-weekly salaried pay ranging from $1,575 to $1,950 USD per week based on skills and experience.
