MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client based in the Devon area and supporting their recruitment for growth and internal expansion. We are recruiting a permanent technician to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for performing essential work on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the site day to day.

The role will involve a permanent day shift, 07:30‑16:00 Monday to Friday.

• Manage and action all activities required of the onsite service
• Work to an agreed planned maintenance schedule to perform essential work on the production machinery
• Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in‑house system
• Manage waste streams to safe disposal off‑site
• Customer liaison and assist in meetings
• Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5S and health & safety

• Experience of working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment
• Possesses a willingness to be adaptable and flexible
• The ability to self‑motivate and work with minimal supervision
• Previous experience within a similar position
• This is a 'hands on' position and demands a willingness to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to be self‑motivated and work with minimal supervision
• Must be PC‑literate
• Have excellent communication skills
