CNC Miller

Overview

Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts and are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing organization.

• Set and operate CNC Milling machines.
• Read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
• Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
• Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures.

• Experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines (at least 3 axis).
• Well-versed machining high precision metal components for a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to work independently, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Previous experience working within the aerospace industry and exposure to Heidenhain controls would be perfect, although this isn't essential.

• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
