Red Ember Recruitment is recruiting a Payroll Administrator for a client based in Brackenfell, Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing the full payroll function from processing, verifying, and reconciling of pay information, taking into account Legislation, Company Policy, and Audit requirements.
- Performing various reconciliations, which include the National Bargaining Council Leave versus the Sage
300 People balance. - Ensuring accurate payment of salaries and wages.
- Preparation of a detailed analytical review of the salaries for the pay period.
- Explaining material variances from the before the current month.
- Provide support to the Payroll Supervisor.
- Internal/external audit preparation.
- Other ad hoc payroll-related tasks as assigned by management
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Bookkeeping / Accountancy / Payroll Certificate or Diploma
- At least 5 years in the same or similar role
- At least 3 years processing payroll using SAGE
300 People - Knowledge / Exposure to the National Bargaining Council Collective Agreement for the Road Freight Industry is an advantage
- Experience with African payrolls and legislation is advantageous
