Overview

Job Title: Construction Manager

Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee their construction projects in Sasolburg, Free State. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project completion on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors and construction crews.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on job sites.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction projects.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to company leadership.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • SACPCMP registration as a construction manager will be advantageous.
  • Must be very conversant with reading and interpreting of piping ISO’s, P&’s, MFD’s and associated mechanical GS drawings, electrical drawings and instrumentation loop drawings.
