Hire Resolve’s client, a leading construction company in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for construction projects in the Eastern Cape region. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and managing a team of junior quantity surveyors. If you are a driven and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the construction industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
- Preparing Tenders and Quotes
- Contracts Management
- Monthly Valuations and Claims
- Measuring and quantity take-offs
- Timely Payments to Stakeholders
- Prepare budgets.
- Bills of quantities
- Subcontractor Appointments and Payments
- Payment certificates
- Cost reports
- Final accounts
- Project Cost Control and Monitoring
- Site instruction documentation and control
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Experience in the construction industry, preferably in the Eastern Cape region
- Strong knowledge of cost management and quantity surveying principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Must be willing to relocate to the Eastern Cape.
