Structural Engineer- Oil and Gas

Please note this position is based in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia. All relocation costs will be covered.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with strong expertise in the design and analysis of structural systems for large-scale projects, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and durability of structural components across construction projects, from initial design through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve structural engineering drawings, models, and calculations.

• Conduct structural analysis to ensure stability, safety, and compliance with international codes and standards.

• Oversee structural aspects of construction projects, including steel, concrete, and foundation works.

• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project engineering teams to integrate structural designs into overall project execution.

• Perform site inspections, risk assessments, and quality assurance of structural works.

• Provide technical expertise to resolve structural engineering challenges.

• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and schedules to support project deliverables.

• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.

• Professional Engineering registration/certification (preferred).

• 7+ years of proven work experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in construction projects.

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and international codes (AISC, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.).

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP
  2000, Tekla, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Effective communication and leadership capabilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
