Hire Resolve is working with a reputable mining company that is currently seeking a Superintendent Rock Engineer to join their team. As a Superintendent Rock Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and stability of underground mining operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing rock support designs, conducting geological and geotechnical assessments, and providing technical support to the mining team.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement rock support systems for underground mining operationsConduct geological and geotechnical assessments to identify potential risks and hazardsProvide technical guidance and support to the mining teamMonitor and analyze ground conditions, and recommend appropriate actionsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsCollaborate with other departments to optimize mine design and planningTrain and mentor junior rock engineersRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in rock engineering or geotechnical engineering within the mining industryRegistered as a Professional Engineer or Professional GeologistStrong knowledge of rock mechanics principles and underground mining methodsExperience with geotechnical software and modeling toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced and challenging environmentBenefits:
