Structural Engineer

An opportunity is available to join a well-established Civil & Structural Engineering Company - NAKO LBE as a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering and design of concrete and steel structures
• BEng / BSc Eng degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered as a candidate at ECSA, professional registration will be an advantage
• Valid driver's license

• Defining and understanding specific project scope and deliverables and managing the submission of competitive proposals.
• Functioning as part of a project team, liaising with other professional team members, other engineering disciplines, and contractors.
• Planning and management of the engineering aspects of projects in terms of scope, time, costs, and quality.
• Understand contract administration documentation based on NEC3 / NEC

• Detailed structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Review, update, and modification of drawings.
• Previous working experience in the engineering development, design, and construction of various projects in industrial plants (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, and Power Generation Plants) will be an advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
