SUMMARY : POSITION INFO :
Junior Draughtsman Entry-Level Opportunity - R24k p.m depending on experience and qualifications
A growing engineering firm is looking for a Junior Draughtsman to join their team. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with Solid Works experience and a passion for precision design and manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Create and modify 2D / 3D CAD drawings for parts and assemblies
- Assist with design detailing, welding / chamfering, and bill of materials updates
- Support site visits, measurements, and drawing inspections
- Liaise with workshop, suppliers, and customers on project requirements
- Matric with technical drawing and maths (NQF
4) - 1–3 years’ experience in Solid Works and 3D modelling
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of steel types, machining tolerances, and materials
- PDM experience is a plus
- Supportive team environment
