Plant Superintendent – Limpopo

Our client, a leading mining group, is seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent to take charge of their chrome processing operations in Limpopo. This is a key leadership role ensuring safe, efficient, and optimised plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily plant operations to achieve production, recovery, and quality targets.
• Monitor performance, drive process improvements, and minimise downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and support reliability initiatives.
• Lead and mentor supervisors, operators, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and promote a zero-harm culture.
• Deliver accurate operational, production, and performance reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree / National Diploma in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years’ mineral processing / metallurgical experience (chrome/ferroalloy advantage).
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant operations, recovery systems, and optimisation.
• Proven leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
