Senior Electronic Engineer

AES Global is partnering with a leading company in the consumer automotive technology space to find a Senior Electronic Engineer to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and versatile engineer who enjoys working across embedded systems, firmware, and multi-platform software development. You’ll be contributing to innovative products that are shaping the future of automotive technology.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware using
  
  C.
• Develop and integrate applications across desktop, mobile, and server environments (Java and related technologies).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers using Git for version control.
• Be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across both hardware and software.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and help drive technical innovation.

Must-Have:

• Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems.
• Solid experience in Java application development.
• Proven experience with microcontroller firmware development (STM
  32, ESP
  32, ARM, PIC, AVR).
• Expertise in Git for version control.
• Ability to work across multiple technology stacks (embedded, desktop, mobile, server).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with QP real-time embedded framework and hierarchical state machines.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and wireless protocols (e.g., Bluetooth LE).
• Familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN bus, K-Line, LIN bus).
• Experience with Espressif IoT Development Framework (ESP-IDF).

• Work on innovative, high-impact technology in the automotive sector.
• Hybrid working policy (2–3 days in the office per week for the first 6–12 months).
