Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

LOCATION: Hybrid / Remote (Somerset, South Africa)

PURPOSE: As a Senior Software Engineer – Frontend, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of the Cyber Sentriq product suite. You will collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers and product managers to build secure, intuitive, and scalable interfaces.

• Design, develop and maintain responsive, accessible, performant UIs with Vue.js (or matching frameworks).
• Translate UX wireframes and product requirements into functional, elegant front‑end solutions.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and contribute to evolve the front‑end architecture.
• Champion best practices in code quality, fu testing and docs.
• Collaborate in Agile sprints, plan, estimate and retrospect.
• Mentor juniors and encourage continuous improvement across the team.
• Find AI and automation use cases that improve usability and efficiency.
• Guarantee UI components are secure, scalable and aligned with cyber‑security best practice.

• 6+ years of front‑end dev using JavaScript, Type Script, HTMTL, CSS

• Strong use in Vue.js (highly desirable) and optionally React/Angular.
• Build and sustain SPAs.
• Use state‑mg libraries (Vue, Redux).
• Deploy, run microservices on Kubernetes.
• Know auto‑testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest.
• Build tools like Webpack, Gulp, Grunt.
• Know RESTful API integration.
• Operate Git in a team environment.
• Execute UX/UI specs precisely.
• Communicate, solve and organise well.
• Agile team share conv tools.
• Preferred degree in CS/SE or related.
