Construction Sub Agent, Civil Engineering

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of a major reinforced concrete (RC) shaft project. This is a key site-based role, working closely with the Site Agent and project team on a technically demanding civil engineering scheme, outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting the Site Agent in the planning and delivery of RC shaft works

* Managing day-to-day site activities and supervising engineers and subcontractors

* Coordinating temporary works, sequencing, and lift plans

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in line with specifications

* Reviewing and approving RAMS, ITPs, and permits

* Monitoring quality, progress, and commercial awareness on site

* Liaising with designers, subcontractors, and the client team

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Sub Agent or Senior Section Engineer role

* Strong background in reinforced concrete and deep structures (shafts, basements, piling, etc.)

* Good understanding of temporary works and construction methodology

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* SMSTS (preferred) or SSSTS

* CSCS card (required)
