The Role

I am seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join this growing modular contractor. This is a roaming, site-based role managing projects across the UK. You will take full responsibility for the on-site delivery of modular construction projects, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, quality and programme performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead day-to-day site operations for modular building projects.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards and exercise stop-work authority when required.
  • Oversee project programmes, ensuring works stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour and site resources.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain compliance with specifications and building regulations.
  • Provide accurate, timely progress reporting to the operations team.
  • Build and motivate a high-performing site team, maintaining a positive and engaging site culture.
  • Work from BIM-based documentation and ensure all site personnel operate from correct drawing revisions.
Candidate Profile
  • Strong background as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager, ideally within modular construction or MMC.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Highly organised, with strong communication and stakeholder-coordination abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for quality and detail.
  • Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings / BIM models.
  • Able to travel and work on sites across the UK as required.
