Architectural Technician

Architectural Technician Job in Southampton. This senior role offers a clear and structured pathway toward Associate level, making it ideal for an experienced technician ready to step into a leadership position within a respected residential-focused practice.

Based in Southampton city centre, this established architectural practice is recognised for its expertise in developer-led residential schemes, working closely with leading UK house builders. The studio provides a full architectural service, with specialist teams covering planning, design, and technical delivery, ensuring projects are efficiently delivered from concept through to completion. They are now seeking a senior individual who is motivated to play a key role in the future growth and leadership of the business.

• Produce detailed working drawing and technical packages
• Deliver projects ranging from 30 to 300 residential units
• Programme and manage workload across multiple projects
• Assist with fee proposals and project resourcing
• Manage projects and oversee other team members
• Review and check drawings to maintain quality standards
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, developing long-term relationships
• Resolve design and technical issues with practical solutions
• Use AutoCAD on a daily basis.

• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong experience delivering UK residential projects
• Background in developer-led residential schemes is essential
• High level of proficiency using AutoCAD
• Revit experience is beneficial but not essential.

• Salary of 38,000
• Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office following probation
