Lead Protection and Control Design Engineer - Transmission and Distribution
LocationMidlands (1x per month)
Package£75-£90K + car and bonus
Responsibilities- Subordinate to the Protection and Control Engineer, create Single Line Diagrams and Main Control / Protection designs.
- Conceptual design of AC / DC schematics for contestable and private networks for 132 / 400
Kv for electrical protection systems - Developing a comprehensive secondary design that encompasses AC / DC, general arrangements, interconnection, and many block diagrams.
- Creation of Core Sheets, Termination Diagrams, and Cable Schedules
- 5 years experience of in Secondary design
- Experience with EHV substation projects up to 132-400
Kv - Experience with UK NGET and DNO
- Skilled secondary design schemes using AutoCAD for 132
Kv, 275

- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Direct experience working for an ICP or DNO in the UK
- Familiarity with AutoCAD electrical work
