Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Access has partnered with a Northern European Engineering Consultancy who are looking to add a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to their Southampton office. Our client operates to the highest level in over 30 countries around the world, covering a multitude of sectors including Geotechnical, Structural, Marine, and Energy engineering. Partly owned by their employees, our client prides themselves on putting employees first and foremost in their decision‑making processes.

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to perform complex geotechnical design in relation to large scale infrastructure projects, including rail and Highways projects in the UK and around the world. Our client is looking for a strong engineer who is looking to step up into a more senior role now that they have become chartered, or somebody on the course for chartership and would like to join a company that truly rewards progression.

Your rail expertise will become a pivotal skillset in the team, and you will be expected to utilise this when mentoring more junior members of the team.

To qualify for this role you will need to have:

• 4-8 years’ experience as a Geotechnical Engineer – Design
• The right to live and work in the UK
• A degree in civil engineering or other relevant study
