About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Child Psychologist with a specialization in pediatrics for their clinic in Randburg . This critical role involves providing comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents facing a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. You will collaborate closely with families, educators, and medical professionals to ensure integrated and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Consult with parents, schools, and other healthcare providers to support comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology with a specialization in Child Clinical Psychology.
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Proven experience in pediatric psychology, including assessment and therapy.
• Strong understanding of child development, psychopathology, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
