Information Technology Project Manager

We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful, growing FMCG wholesaler where you would own the IT function and have autonomy in the role. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, family‑run, 100% employee‑owned business that is expanding rapidly and moving to a larger premises in the near future.

What you will be doing :

This is a hands‑on IT Project Manager role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of technology initiatives, with a major focus on delivering a business‑critical ERP upgrade (Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central preferred).

You’ll be trusted to shape how IT projects are delivered across the business — working closely with warehouse, transport, finance, sales, and purchasing teams.

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT and systems projects across the business
• Own the ERP upgrade, ensuring minimal disruption to wholesale operations
• Translate operational business needs into clear technical requirements
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, finance, sales, and purchasing teams
• Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, roadmaps, and reporting

• Proven experience delivering IT projects in multi‑system environments
• ERP upgrade experience (Dynamics / Business Central highly desirable)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software delivery
• Confident stakeholder management and clear communication style
• Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal IT infrastructure in place
