Desktop Support Specialist

  Dispatch & Backfill engineer

Windows 7‑10, Microsoft Active Directory, use of GPOs, Microsoft Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, enterprise anti‑virus solutions, help‑desk ticketing systems.

• Mobile device management (iOS & Android), enterprise encryption solutions, Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory.
• Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, determine priorities and meet SLAs.
• Excellent communication, relationship–building and internal customer service skills.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast‑changing industry and work environment.
• Willing to work off‑hours and weekends when required for projects or emergency support.

• Deploy SCCM/Intune custom image to new devices.
• Configure devices and core applications.
• Coordinate with users for replacement devices.
• Configure user experience and custom applications as required.
• Provide 1st & 2nd line support to users.
• Maintain asset register for removal of old devices and replacements.
• Complete software installations on workstations and laptops.
