We are looking to recruit an RN qualified nurse (or equivalent) with a valid NMC PIN to join our highly successful and inclusive Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be a committed, inspirational and dynamic individual with a passion for nursing and health care for our college community.

Contract
: 35 hours per week, permanent, term time only.
Salary
: SCP Range 27-29 (currently FTE £45,267 - £47,497);
Actual salary SCP 27 £ 36,726.50 p/a.

• Provide a high standard of wellbeing care and first aid to students whilst on the college site.
• Support students with physical, mental or emotional health concerns, including responsive first‑aid and wellbeing support.
• Promote healthy lifestyles for students and staff and implement statutory first‑aid arrangements.
• Work with parents, carers, specialist health professionals and others to develop, implement and monitor in‑college care plans for students with complex health needs and long‑term conditions such as asthma, diabetes or epilepsy.

• RN qualification or equivalent with a valid NMC PIN and current NMC registration.
• Knowledge of medicine and nursing practices relating to young adults and related conditions.
• Keen attention to detail and methodical approach to accurate, clear and appropriate record keeping.
