Location & Working Arrangement

Homebased role with occasional travel to Southampton and Aberdeen offices.

Package & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Contract:

Full time, Permanent.

Role Overview

You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships. You’ll support the Business Development team by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and expanding DEKRA’s footprint across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote DEKRA’s Organisational Safety services across the UK/Ireland market.
  • Generate outbound leads via cold calling, email outreach, and Linked In Sales Navigator.
  • Qualify inbound leads from various channels and assess sales potential.
  • Manage and grow small accounts through upselling and cross‑selling.
  • Schedule meetings and support relationship expansion for business development executives.
  • Engage with prospects to understand needs and align DEKRA’s services with their requirements.
  • Hand over qualified leads to sales executives for conversion.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision‑makers within client organisations.
  • Create tailored proposals using sales playbooks for specific client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems such as Salesforce and SAP.
  • Attend industry events to expand market presence and establish direct client contacts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to align strategies.
  • Share insights and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Sales experience preferred; HSE knowledge is a plus.
  • Multilingual fluency (French, German, Spanish, Dutch) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook), SAP, Salesforce, and Linked In & Sales Intelligence Tools (e.g., Rocket Reach).
Key Performance Indicators
  • Inside Sales pipeline development.
  • Total and year‑on‑year revenue growth.
  • New account acquisition.
  • Lead conversion value.
