Overview

To support our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Team Leader to join our established security team based at The Marlands Shopping Centre in Southampton.

As Security Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the site security team ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors in the centre complete patrols and remain vigilant at all times. The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence as a minimum and a CCTV Licence is preferred.

Duties

include
  • Protecting the clients property people and / or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and site-specific procedures
  • Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures
  • Assisting the Control Room and CCTV operation including all files and documentation to meet all data protection requirements of GDPR reporting to the Regional Operations Manager and the Data Processor (Centre Manager).
  • Oversee all day-to-day security operations ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are being followed. Manager contractor work permit procedures.
  • Ensure all necessary health and safety inspections / patrols are completed to maintain compliance of site procedures. Reporting all incidents accidents damage and near missed to the management team (Client) immediately via verbal communication followed by a detailed investigation report.
  • Ensure all defects are reported.
  • Actively maintain a safe helpful and secure environment for staff customers visitors and the Centres tenants.
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints quickly and efficiently and escalating when required to a senior manager in which it applies reporting all cases
Requirements
  • Full 5-year employment checkable history
  • Valid frontline SIA licences DS or SG
  • Customer Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct manner
  • Flexible to meet the job requirements
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Smart appearance and be well-groomed
  • Reliable and punctual
  • High level of enthusiasm and passion
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
