Senior PHP Developer

We're working with a growing business seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work on innovative financial applications, primarily using Go, while maintaining and modernizing an existing PHP codebase.

If you're a strong developer with PHP experience and eager to learn Go, training can be provided.

What you'll do:

Design, develop, and test scalable solutions in Go.Maintain and troubleshoot existing PHP applications.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable software.

Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.

Required Skillset:

8+ years of commercial development experience.

Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.

Database experience (SQL and/or No

SQL).Proven PHP experience.

Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and unit testing.

Nice to have:

Experience with financial systems or PCI compliance.

Knowledge of Go (or willingness to learn).

Location - Fareham - 3 days onsite requirement
