About The Role

Love being behind the wheel and keeping things moving? Join Dawsongroup’s truck and trailer team as a Driver and play a key part in keeping our fleet running smoothly and customers happy.

• Working hours:
  
  7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (would consider part‑time hours)
• Hourly rate: £14.25 per hour.
• Transport vehicles safely between customer sites, workshops, and our branches.
• Present vehicles for MOT inspections with confidence and care.
• Help out with office duties, vehicle handovers, and occasional guest transport.
• Keep vehicles in top shape inside and out.
• Support with ad hoc tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

• You hold a full, valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licence (this one’s a must!)
• CPC Card up to date and ready to go.
• Comfortable with day‑to‑day vehicle checks and general upkeep.
• Friendly, professional, and happy dealing with people face to face.
• Always safety‑aware and looking after the details.
