GP Maternity Cover

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic GP to provide maternity cover on a fixed term basis for six months
. The successful candidate will join our clinical team and deliver high standards of primary care, supporting continuity and quality of servicethroughout the period of cover.

• Provide general medical services to registered and temporary patients in line with NHS standards and practice protocols.
• Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, with a focus on patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and patient experience.
• Manage a varied clinical caseload including chronic disease management, acute illness, preventive care, and minor injuries.
• Complete clinical administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptions, results review and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous patient records in line with practice policy and professional standards.
• Participate in duty doctor sessions, triage as required and contribute to practice meetings where relevant.

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List.
• Experience with System One.
• Interest in quality improvement and patient centred care.

• Experience working in primary care.
